The Education Administration is responsible for all activities within the municipality's preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, after-school care, high schools, and adult education.

Rainbow School is an adapted primary school for grades 1–9 with approximately 95 students and 75 staff members. At Rainbow School, you will have the opportunity to work in a newly built school alongside engaged and competent colleagues who are passionate about students' development.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a structured, creative, and committed special educator who wants to make a difference. In this role, you will lead and inspire students in their learning in close collaboration with colleagues and teaching assistants. You see challenges as opportunities and always have the student's best interests in focus.

You will be responsible for teaching various subjects and subject areas, proposing pedagogical adjustments, and planning and implementing interventions for students in need of special support. The work also includes participation in action programs, follow-up of interventions, as well as documentation and assessment of students' development in Unikum.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who

• has a teaching license and a special education degree with a focus on intellectual disabilities (IF)
• has good collaboration and communication skills
• works relationally and has an unpretentious approach
• contributes to a positive work climate and promotes participation among students and colleagues

Experience working with TBA is an advantage.
